Institute for Environmental Awareness, Inc.

The Institute for Environmental Awareness is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 1973 dedicated to promoting and supporting programs and services that encourage living and learning in harmony with the Earth and all Life.

Our three areas of focus are:

University of the Wild
Providing earth-based education programs that empower people to become leaders in growing new and sustainable cultures.

Earthlands Program and Retreat Center
Operates an off-grid program and retreat center.

Earthlands Land Trust (Get Involved!)
Our initiative to purchase the Earthlands Program and Retreat Center land and facilities and create a covenant of environmental stewardship for our generation and the generations to come.
